Exactly
I understand they have lost one league game in 13 or 14
If they were 2 Pts behind now I think they would be odds on
Shame

Re: Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur
To be honest, they're the best team in the league this year by a country mile.

Which just makes it all the more satisfying that our beating them is likely to be what costs them the league in the one and only chance they'll have to win it.

Re: Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur
Def worth a punt at 50's.

I think Everton will give it a go tomorrow as it's the derby so a lot of pride at stake, plus Martinez is getting dog abuse from the faithful there. I seem to recall Moyes resting players in a derby in his last season, and they went on to lose the cup game and he got dogs. Liverpool will probably win though.

No way Everrton are gonna put out a full side tomorrow - can't see anything other than a easy win for the scousers.

Re: Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur
Agreed, would be pretty disappointed with 7th too if it wasn't enough for Europe.

Top 4 bet is online so can't be thrown away - would argue that 50/1 was still excellent value at the time I put it on. A few better decisions here and there and it could have been so so different.

Re: Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur
8th would be shit now, really shit. I think only Liverpool can finish above us now, hopefully Everton will do us a favour tomorrow.

I take it you have thrown away your top 4 betting slip?

Marston Hammer 8:27 Tue Apr 19
Re: Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur
Decent result for us. All but guarantees a top 8 finish. Two of southampton's last games are against City and the yids so if we can win our game in hand top 7 should be safe, which may be enough for Europe.

Spuds ????

Grow up idiot

Private Dancer 5:54 Tue Apr 19
Re: Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur
If Spuds win their last 4 games that gives them 80 pts with a betteer gd, so Leicester would need 8 pts from their 4 games, 2 wins and 2 draws, or 3 wins...not easy...they HAVE to beat Swansea.

As much as it pains me to say it Spurs were mustard tonight... a perfect away performance... I reckon it's going to go to the wire.

Marston

I owe more than that mate given that I recall previous discussion where i asked about him and you responded

We are both in the same part of the world and my employers HO is in MK, we have commercial connections now at the Dons and a mutual staff member who is well positioned with the board and manager/ players at the club

We were in but not that eager, Spurs were and the Dons wanted the money - lad was accessible

At the death it was Spurs and Newcastle, Scousers had been bombed out

Prior we were interested and withdrew along with others

My source? - The club, MK that is.

Not sure about that - don't think we ever had a chance of getting him.

Was always gonna be between liverpool and spurs as to where he went after MK dons.

Dont get me wrong I hate the cunts

But they have a collection of fine players and a manager that Manchester Utd, if they have any nouse remaining, should take

I happen to think Spurs will overtake the shitkicking East Midland scarfer slappers

Stoke looked awful. The 'flair' players they have been raving about didn't look up for it at all.

Lucky we beat them the other week.

Re: Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur
From a purely West Ham point of view, a decent result.

Stoke is not only a point further being us but also closer to having nothing to play for. Not sure people like the Austrian with the top knot will be up for it against us.

Stay ahead of Southampton and barring some European high jinks, we should be able to get to Europe.

Crassus 11:38 Mon Apr 18
Re: Stoke City v Tottenham Hotspur
Wont have a word said against Alli - he is a brilliant player and one that we could have and should have signed

He was an outstanding youth player that everyone was aware of, including us, and collectively declined due to not being ready

We are well connected at MK and took a long look

Off the pitch he is a delightful young man and a model pro - a bollock dropped
